Huawei Ascend P1 / P1S - The Most Thinnest Android


Utilizing event Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 being held in Las Vegas, USA, Huawei introduced the Ascend series P1 S which is claimed as the world's thinnest smartphone with a thickness of only 6.68mm.

Not only rely on thinness, P1 S also carry a variety of technologies ranging from the adoption of qualified kind of Super AMOLED touch screen 960 × 540 resolution with 4.3-inch size up to a layer of glass Corning Gorilla Glass. Mike Liu, President of Huawei Device South Pacific, gave a speech on smartphones that use dual-core 1.5GHz processor TI OMAP 4460 Cortext-A9 and the latest operating system Android, Ice Cream Sandwich.



"We are delighted to introduce the thinnest smartphone in the world in this 2012 CES show. Huawei Ascend P1 S demonstrates our commitment to constantly innovate produce high-quality devices by utilizing the latest hardware and software technology."

In addition, Huawei also launched a series of Ascend P1 which is still in the ranks and functions similar to Ascend P1 S, but with a thickness of 7.69mm. PPVD rear layer in both series can spread the heat evenly and give the appearance of solid metal and three-dimensional design with a smooth texture. Huawei Ascend P1/P1 S is available in a wide range of color choices, such as metallic black, white, pink and many other color options which will be launched later.
